This DUB200 subwoofer is one of the best-valued subwoofers on the market. You wouldn’t think that a 12” subwoofer with an affordable price could be good until you hear this sub roar.

You thought that you will lose an arm and a leg in order to get a great sounding subwoofer; but this subwoofer which costs far below the average subwoofer, will definitely impress you. If you read user reviews on the DUB200, you will find about 90% of users surprised and awestruck at the performance of the subwoofer; so you can rest assure that there are a lot of people out there buying these subs and enjoying the great performance at such a low price as most users reported that this subwoofer is LOUD even with low-powered amplifiers.

The subwoofer cone features a tough woven glass-carbon fiber woofer. This high tech cone will allow the sub to perform at high levels with great consistency as glass-carbon fiber cones do not react much to environmental changes such as humidity or temperature. Additionally, the surround material consists of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber; material that is also resistant to the extreme environmental changes such as intense sunlight or extreme changes in temperature. The subwoofer also features a 2” voice coil that operates at 4 ohm impedance with a surprisingly high 400 watts RMS power handling.

Though the grille that is included may look like chrome or aluminum on photographs, it is in reality just plastic. This plastic grille makes what would have otherwise been a great audiobahn subwoofer to look awfully cheap. Other than that, I could not find much else that is bad. Of course I must advise that with any inexpensive product (though the majority of reviews have indicated great customer satisfaction) you must be careful with the reliability and the durability of the unit.
